Where can I purchase Appearance Protection? Do I have to purchase at my original selling dealer?

We recommend that you purchase Appearance Protection from your selling dealer who has the service history of your Kia and knows it best. In the event that it is not convenient for you to purchase Appearance Protection from your originating dealer, you may purchase Appearance Protection from any Kia Canada dealer.

What does Appearance Protection cost?

Depending on the term option that best suits your intended ownership period, Appearance Protection pricing will vary and is best reviewed with your selling dealer.

Can I purchase Appearance Protection even if my Kia is not brand new?

Yes. Appearance Protection coverage is available for most Kia models within 10 years and 200,000 kilometres at time of purchase. Your pre-owned Kia must be in good condition and covered items must be visually inspected by the selling dealer prior to purchase.

What type of parts will be used for my repair?

Appearance Protection only provides the highest quality repairs. You can be assured that only new or genuine remanufactured parts will be used for your covered repair. You will also have the expertise of a factory trained technician to perform the repair to ensure the right job is done the first time.

Where do I go in the event of a claim?

We recommend that you return to your selling dealer in the event of a breakdown. They will assist you with your repairs and get you back and running as soon as possible.

If you are unable to return to your selling dealer, you may visit any authorized Kia dealer in Canada and the continental U.S. for Appearance Protection claims assistance.

Can I cancel my Appearance Protection coverage?

Appearance Protection is cancellable within 30 days from contract purchase date. We will provide a 100% refund (less any approved claims) in the event you do not wish to continue your coverage. After the 30 days from contract purchase you may not cancel Appearance Protection coverage.

Can I transfer my Appearance Protection coverage?

Appearance Protection is transferrable at any time during the contract term to another private purchaser. Simply return to your selling dealer or call us at 1-866-475-8864 to initiate a transfer request. A transfer fee may apply.
