Where can I purchase MBP? Do I have to purchase at my original selling dealer?
We recommend that you purchase MBP from your selling dealer who has the service history of your Kia and knows it best. In the event that it is not convenient for you to purchase MBP from your originating dealer, you may purchase MBP from any Kia Canada dealer.
What does MBP cost?
Depending on the type of coverage level you select, and the deductible, term and mileage options that best suit your intended ownership period, MBP pricing will vary and is best reviewed with your selling dealer. Rates may vary based on the age, mileage and intended use of your Kia.
Can I purchase MBP even if my Kia is outside of the original comprehensive warranty term?
Yes. MBP coverage is available for most Kia models within 10 years and 160,000 kilometres at time of purchase. In the event your Kia is outside of the original comprehensive warranty term, a vehicle inspection may be required before MBP coverage can be purchased.
What type of parts will be used for my repair?
MBP only provides the highest quality parts. You can be assured that only new or genuine remanufactured parts will be used for your covered repair. You will also have the expertise of a factory trained technician to perform the repair to ensure the right job is done the first time.
Where do I go in the event of a claim?
We recommend that you return to your selling dealer in the event of a breakdown. They will assist you with your repairs and get you back and running as soon as possible.
If you are unable to return to your selling dealer, you may visit any authorized Kia dealer in Canada and the continental U.S. for MBP claims assistance.

Can I cancel my MBP coverage?
MBP is cancellable within 30 days from contract purchase date. We will provide a 100% refund (less any approved claims) in the event you do not wish to continue your coverage. After the 30 days from contract purchase you may not cancel MBP coverage.
Can I transfer my MBP coverage?
MBP is transferrable at any time during the contract term to another private purchaser. Simply return to your selling dealer or call us at 1-866-475-8864 to initiate a transfer request. A transfer fee may apply.
